Q: How often should I have my oven valeted/cleaned?
A: This depends on how often you clean your oven yourself, between visits. Once we have given your oven a full valet (leaving it looking great) you may want to keep up the standard by regular cleaning yourself - in which case you’ll only need to call us when the oven gets really greasy again - perhaps once a year! However, if you’re too busy to clean your oven regularly, you may want to call us more often. Most of our customers call us every 4 to 6 months.
Q: How long will the cleaning take?
A: This depends on the type of oven, the size and the level of grease and grime built-up. In general, it takes about 1-3 hours for single or double ovens, with Ranges and Agas taking a bit longer.
Q: How long (after the valet) can I use my oven?
A: Because we use non-toxic products which leave no residue after cleaning, you can use your oven straight away. (So, you could call us to spruce up your oven prior to cooking for that important dinner party!)
Q: Can you clean a ‘self-cleaning’ oven?
A: Surprisingly, the answer is Yes. The idea behind self-cleaning ovens is that the enamel lining is so durable that you can heat it to a very high temperature, causing any debris to bake and fall off. However, manufacturers generally advise you to do this weekly - meaning that, with heating the oven for 3-4 hours each time, you could run up quite an electricity bill!
The ‘self-cleaning’ also does not apply to the shelves, door glass and behind the fan cover - so, even though your oven may be ‘self-cleaning’, it’s a good idea to call us in from time to time!
Q: What’s involved, when you clean my oven?
A: In order to get right to the grime, we carefully dismantle all removable parts of your oven and immerse them in our purpose-built heated dip tank, where they can be cleaned without making a mess of your kitchen!
All non-removable parts are degreased in-situ. If required, we will also clean your hob and extractor before putting everything back together - in tip-top condition!
Q: Are you the cheapest local Oven Valeting Service?
A: We think our prices are unbeatable and offer fantastic value for money. Just give us a call or email us to book an appointment and we’ll have your oven looking as good as new in no time!
Q: Is The Oven Valeting Company fully insured?
A: Yes. All our specialist oven cleaners are fully insured with up to £1,000,000 Public Liability Insurance
Q: Can you repair ovens?
A: Sorry, but No. although we offer a fantastic oven cleaning/valeting service and provide essential basic maintenance services such as bulb and filter replacement, we do not provide repair services. You will need to find a specialist - and we can usually point you in the right direction.
Q: What other services do you provide?
A: In addition to oven cleaning/valeting, we also clean hobs, extractor units and some Barbeques. We can replace bulbs and filters as required.
Q: How do I make an appointment?
A: Just call us on 07718 231852 or use our Contact Us form and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible to arrange an appointment.
